Wildlife Large and Small
Wild Neighbors: Life Alongside the Rockies’ Wildlife
Each snapshot in this collection tells a tale, whether it’s of the resident fox family from the nearby hill or the inquisitive praying mantis in our path. The wildlife here are part of our life tapestry but at a respectful distance—we neither feed nor invite them to linger. Our lifestyle has adapted for safety, like avoiding night walks, but it’s a small price for the privilege of observing nature’s rhythm, from wandering turkeys to the occasional visit from a mother bear and her cubs.
